Joint concert with Synergy and Harmony InSpires – 8th July

This took place at the Wesley Memorial Church on New Inn Hall Street at the centre of Oxford. We were first up to sing:

My Evaline
Goodnight sweetheart
When I’m 64
Bare necessities
Hippo song
Shenandoah
When she loved me
Blue skies

Harmony InSpires appeared next. Their performance was most enjoyable as they sang in their usual accomplished manner.

After this Synergy did a great set.

Finally all three choruses got together to sing Mary Lou.

Presentations were made and many of us met up at the Red Lion where the singing restarted with Mary Lou. Security decided that, despite the applause, we were too loud. So the volume was “reduced” and we continued without further objections.

It was an excellent evening – though sadly our last with Will Prior as MD.
